InPost extends the shipping hours and expands the list of delivery countries. Rafał Brzoska announces further improvements for customers and e-shops.
InPost is introducing further changes to its offer. Rafał Brzoska informed that the company is extending the time for sending parcels in Paczkomaty,PaczkoPunkt and when requesting a courier pick-up. At the same time, the list of countries to which parcels can be sent via this network is being expanded.
The key novelty concerns the so-called cut-off hours. This is the last possible sending time, after which the parcel will not be collected by the courier on the same day,so it will reach the recipient later. There is a different cutoff time for each postcode – it may be earlier or later depending on your location. Now,as part of changes in zonal division,InPost is moving these hours for 176 postal codes throughout Poland. The modification will enter into force on November 27,2025.
By extending the shipping time, customers gain greater flexibility, and online stores can fulfill orders placed late in the afternoon with a guarantee of “today” shipping. This means a chance to handle more orders while maintaining a quick delivery time. The company emphasizes that this is the third extension of cutoff hours this year. Current hours for individual postal codes can be checked on the InPost website.
The second important element of the changes is the expansion of the range of foreign deliveries. So far,you could send a parcel from a Parcel Locker or PaczkoPunkt to seven European countries: Belgium,France,Spain, the Netherlands,Luxembourg,Portugal and Italy. Now this list has been expanded to include Austria and Hungary,as a result of cooperation with Austrian Post. The company declares that a parcel sent in Poland should reach the recipient within three business days.
There are two delivery methods available in Austria: courier delivery and collection at partner parcel machines. However, please remember that Austrian Post lockers differ in size from those known from InPost parcel lockers and different weight limits apply. There are three dimensions for the machines: A (61 x 38 x 8 cm),B (61 x 38 x 19 cm) and C (61 x 38 x 37 cm),with a maximum package weight of 25 kg. The minimum size of the shipment to the machine is 14 mm x 9 cm x 1 cm.
For courier deliveries in Austria, the parcel must be a minimum of 1 x 9 x 14 cm and a maximum of 60 x 60 x 100 cm. Its weight cannot exceed 30 kg. For shipments sent to Hungary, the minimum dimensions are 5 x 10 x 15 cm,the maximum – 50 x 50 x 110 cm,with a weight limit also up to 30 kg. Currently, only courier delivery is available in Hungary, but InPost announces that in the future it plans to also make collection at parcel machines available.
As a result of the changes introduced,InPost customers can send parcels later than before and send them to more countries, while maintaining clear rules regarding the dimensions and weight of shipments.
